All eight White Lodge centres came together for an entertaining Family Funfest on Saturday, 26th January 2019. It marked our first field trip for the year! To extend our learning about Dinosaurs, we gathered at Fu Shan Garden which is a dinosaur-themed playground.
Children were thrilled to have many stations to choose from, dinosaur-themed games, puzzles and races; family games; calligraphy painting and much more.
The event began with greetings and warmup exercises led by our Phoneix Park team. With everyone up on their feet and the families all energised and ready for the day, we opened up the stations for family Funfest.
Children were excited to be part of the parachute games organised by our River Valley Team. What fun it was to navigate the parachute and play with parents and teachers!
Children got an opportunity to feed some hungry dinosaurs with our ‘Feed the T-Rex’ game and throw some rings on to the horns of Triceratops with a game of ‘Triceratoss’.
We also had many friendly races to choose from like the Dino Stomp Race, Dino Balloon Egg Race and Egg and Spoon Race for both adults and children. Even our teachers participated!
Our shrinking island game was a popular family game!
Amidst all the excitement with games and races, children also experienced some quiet time as they got to put together giant pieces of dinosaur puzzles, and tried their hand at Chinese calligraphy as well!
Hope you had as much fun as we did organising this event and being there with you all today. We thank all our families for their valuable and continued support, and we look forward to having many more fun learning experiences with all!
