Abhi has called Singapore her home since moving here from Sydney in 2007. Before entering the field of education, she worked in accounting and finance for ten years across India, USA, France, Australia and Singapore. Abhi enjoys working with children and has a deep-rooted desire to understand how they learn and grow. She has invested nearly six years in expanding her knowledge and gaining experience in the field of early years education.
Abhi is a firm believer in the transformational nature of learning and is a strong proponent of childhood as a crucial life stage, focusing on children’s agency and rights. Abhi views young children as individuals who are capable and competent in constructing knowledge while challenging themselves and their educators as they make meaning of the world. As an avid reader, she is passionate about exploring educational change and best practices to support and extend the capacities of current and future generations of learners and educators.
